4 Days: Amsterdam

HOTEL (4 nights + 1 night)

Kimpton DeWitt AMS 163,000 points total for 4 nights (4th night free). For the second room, we used a Free Night Certificate + 7000 points for one night. This is a gorgeous hotel, excellent location, free room upgrade to very large corner King with great views, and free daily happy hour.

Avenue Hotel $162 (incl tax/fees) for one night. This hotel was next door and great for the price.

DAY 1: PARIS to AMSTERDAM

The four of us arrived from Paris on a train (3.5 hours) booked through Eurostar

for $320. We checked into the beautiful Kimpton De Witt, in the heart of the city, only a 5 min walk from Central Station. We spent the rest of the day wandering the streets.

DAY 2: AMSTERDAM

We had breakfast on the canal and wandered around until our prebooked visit to the Anne Frank Annex Museum, an incredible must-see museum. Everything in Amsterdam is easy to reach, so our days and evenings were spent wandering and exploring.

DAY 3: AMSTERDAM

We stumbled upon Sail 2025, a large-scale maritime festival taking place from Aug 20–24 featuring numerous tall ships and activities, so we took a free ferry during Sail In (when all the tall ships arrive) to a festival on the other side of the port to have lunch at NDSM, near a street art museum.

DAY 4: AMSTERDAM

Sienna had a giant Dutch pancake for breakfast and then we went on a canal cruise, followed by pasta dinner and a walk through the Red Light District.
