If you have a Chase credit card that earns Ultimate Rewards (UR), it's easy to transfer points and book flights.

If you are a "Delta Loyalist," you can book a reward flight on KLM, Air France or Virgin Atlantic and you may fly on a Delta flight. KLM, Air France and Virgin Atlantic are partners with Delta and part of the SkyTeam alliance, allowing members to book flights operated by Delta using their respective frequent flyer miles.

KLM flies from many U.S. cities direct to Amsterdam (AMS), while Air France flies direct to Paris (CDG). From there, both airlines can take you to final destinations around the globe.

FIND AN AWARD FLIGHT

  • Make a Flying Blue account.

  • Log into into Air France (or KLM) and search ONE-WAY flights by selecting Book with Miles (leave departure date blank to use the calendar).

  • Search for the return flight.

  • When you've found your flights, you have two options:

    • Option 1 (suggested): call Flying Blue to hold the flights for 48 hours. This route is suggested because you'll be able to verify that the flights are available and confirm how many points are needed to book.

    • Option 2: transfer the points from Chase (see below) and book.

  • Once your points are in your Flying Blue account, pull up each flight and select Book with Miles.

  • Complete your booking.

TRANSFER POINTS FROM CHASE

  • Once the points are transferred, you can't pull them back to Chase.

Virgin Atlantic flies from many U.S. cities direct to London (LHR) and Manchester (MAN). NOTE: Flying into the UK can include hefty taxes, but if you book to a destination that doesn't include a stop in the UK, you will not be subject to those taxes. Virgin Atlantic flies to 28 locations across five continents. Check out the iconic destinations.
